Do you feel seen for who you are as a person where you shop? We are committed to creating safe spaces for everyone and dismantling the patriarchy in the process. What is a gender-free shop, you may ask? Think no “women’s” or “men’s” clothing sections. Because clothes are just clothes, and gender is a social construct and is not binary! We also sell furniture, home goods, local art, and more!

ABOUT
THE OWNER

It all began when I had the chance to spend a year in Portland, Oregon, one of my favorite cities. I was inspired by the unique consignment shops in the Pacific Northwest. My personal philosophy is to shop secondhand as much as possible. I see it as a form of recycling, and I believe our dollar is our voice—what we support is what will grow. I have been a big supporter of small businesses, local artists, and nonprofits for many years.

Birmingham is my home (I first moved here twenty years ago!). I wanted to bring a little bit of Portland back with me. Nine years later, my dream of opening my own consignment store in the Magic City is finally happening!

Shortly after moving back to the South, I came out as queer. Now, in addition to my primary mission of sustainability, my goal is to create safe spaces for my commUNITY, especially the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities. Because when we support each other, together we can create solutions for a brighter future.
